Established in 1999, Strategic Technology Communications, Inc. (STC) is a telecommunications company located in Phoenix, Arizona with another office in Belen, New Mexico.
Originally a leasing company specializing in communications equipment, STC began offering customized telecommunications solutions in response to the evolving needs of its customers in the education market. With over a decade of experience in the telecommunications industry, the move to provide enterprise-level telecommunications infrastructure was a natural fit for the company.
Today, STC makes modern enterprise-level telecommunications solutions available to organizations of all sizes. These solutions include both infrastructure engineering and installations, and state-of-the-art hosted services. More specifically, STC provides private infrastructures and services that enable high-speed broadband connectivity; and hosted services for data, voice, and video communications.
STC’s goal is to provide cost effective, telecom solutions to meet the current and future needs of our clients. We take the time to build relationships with our clients, and we take time to learn about their organizations. This helps us understand our clients’ strategic goals, and then design a solution to meet those goals in the most efficient way possible.
STC has gained the experience and reputation to qualify as one of only nine providers awarded the Arizona State Carrier Contract. State, County and local government entities, including school districts, are able to utilize STC for customized non-regulated communications solutions without the cumbersome and time-consuming effort of going out to bid.
In addition to managing 16 school district WAN networks in Arizona with more than 54 links; under our State Contract we manage and maintain over 170 satellite Internet service links for the State of Arizona Department of Health Emergency Preparedness Division. These satellite links are in most cases are standby backup in the event of an emergency; however all are monitored and maintained regularly to ensure all are operational when needed.
