LanLINK
Managed Local Area Network.
LanLINK is a Local Area Network (LAN) for your organization completely managed, monitored, and maintained by STC's expert network administrators.
Best LANs
LanLINK is a custom-engineered and custom-built LAN to meet your organization's needs utilizing the latest and greatest wired and wireless technologies available on the market today. All of STC's networks are expertly designed by qualified, certified, and experienced engineers; and we adhere to the highest industry standards such as IEEE and BICSI.
No Equipment to Buy
With LanLINK, you will not have to purchase any network equipment. Since LanLINK is a managed LAN, STC owns the equipment. For a small monthly fee, STC monitors, manages, and maintains the network. Furthermore, when it is time to upgrade the software or replace a component we will do this too without any cost to you!
Reliability through Proactive Monitoring
STC uses enterprise class monitoring tools to monitor equipment 24x7x365. STC Network Operations personnel contact customers regarding outages based on the protocol requested by the customer.
We proactively manage our entire network infrastructure using industry standard SNMP. Our Network Operations Center (NOC) monitors our networks 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year.
Based in Phoenix, with another office in Belen, New Mexico; STC maintains certified professional engineering and management staff.
In order to ensure STC maintains its service level commitments (99.99% uptime) we aggressively and proactively manage all network elements. We maintain an inventory of spare equipment to ensure rapid replacement should any element fail.
Prior to network equipment going live, the monitoring system is engaged. As part of initial installation, STC provides a VPN appliance that connects to the STC NOC. This appliance establishes a direct connection with the STC monitoring system and the STC components within the organization's network.
Once the connection is established, each component is monitored via SNMP and ICMP for statistics gathering and activity. The monitoring system gathers a variety of statistics, including bandwidth utilization throughout the day, equipment conditions and over all link quality.
